A16z Leads $40M Funding For Web3 Knowledge Protocol Golden

Golden, a decentralized information platform, has concluded a $40 million fundraising round organized by the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, or a16z. Protocol Labs, OpenSea Ventures, and founders of Solana, Dropbox, Postmates, and Twitch, were among those who participated. In addition to managing the Series B fundraising round, Ali Yahya, general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, will join Golden’s board of directors with cofounder of a16z Marc Andreessen.
